Conservatives top European poll in Stafford Borough

The European election results for Stafford Borough (which covers most of Stafford and Stone constituencies) were:

Conservatives 14,057 34%
UKIP 8,546 21%

Jeremy welcomes new Stafford county councillors

All four Labour-held seats in Stafford were won by the Conservatives in the elections on June 4th. Every county councillor in Stafford constituency is now a Conservative.

Conservatives 49 seats 43% of vote
Labour 3 seats 18%
