Labour 5,970 15%
Liberal Democrats 4,630 11%

Jeremy commented: "I am pleased that our vote share in Stafford Borough was above the average for the West Midlands and 19% ahead of Labour. I am also delighted that our two MEP's, Philip Bradbourn and Malcolm Harbour, have been re-elected. They have achieved a great deal for Staffordshire and the West Midlands since 1999.
"This result is a clear rejection of those parties - in particular Labour - which broke their manifesto commitments to a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty/Constitution.
"But our vote share is 10% below that achieved in the county elections and most of that has gone to parties which oppose UK membership of the EU. It is the encroaching power of the EU over our national life which the British people are increasingly rejecting.
"It is time the EU concentrated on what is important for its members - breaking down barriers to trade, tackling monopolies, protecting our shared environment and making cross-border co-operation easier where the countries desire it.
"It should stay out of areas where it has no business."
