The General Election has been called and I am setting out my pledges for Stafford constituency.

An adult placement service, run by a charity on behalf of Staffordshire Social Care and Health, has seen the number of people using the service go up by 19% in the past year to 118.

The move of 1st Signals Brigade from Germany to Stafford has been delayed by 2 years until 2015, the Ministry of Defence announced this week.

Today 2,000 people took part in the Stafford Half Marathon and another 800 (including Jeremy) in the mile-long Fun Run in lovely spring sunshine.

On a recent visit to Oakridge Primary School, Jeremy met the Head, Paul Fisher. He congratulated Mr Fisher, the staff and pupils of the school for the excellent SATS results.

A Conservative government will work closely with voluntary groups who help to promote community safety and run activities for young people.
